Company History

Founded in 1995 by Rob Miller, High Crest Solutions has grown from a small side business to a successful information technology consulting company. The company currently services customers across Bergen and Passaic Counties in NJ. The original goal was to bring cost-effective computer support to home PC users and has since expanded into business coverage as well.

About the owner - Rob Miller

Rob had early exposure to computers, starting to program in the basic language in the first grade. It wasn't until the 6th grade that the family computer became a strong focus of his attention. It was the mistakes, trial and error that accelerated the learning process.

When he left to attend Villanova University in 1992, he purchased his own PC and spent countless hours learning how it all worked. He was one of the first students in the Communication Arts program to use PowerPoint in a final presentation.

Post graduation, Rob was employed by the IT department at Villanova University managing the public, student computer labs. The 3 labs ran 24/7 and were staffed by over 80 students under his management. Mid-way through his 3 years at Villanova he transitioned to the data networking group and was lead network engineer for the university.

In 2000, he accepted a job with a video production company in Ridgewood where he served as the company's Chief Technology Officer. He still supports their office operations today.
